Hacer collares y aretes cuando le hacían falta
para una ocasión especial fue lo que hizo que
Cristina iniciara su negocio. Al graduarse del
colegio comenzó a vender sus creaciones a
familiares y amigos, los que a su vez le
comentaban a sus amigos y de esta forma fue
ganando una fiel clientela.

Comenzó como autodidacta y luego se graduó
de Técnica en Joyería en Revere Academy of
Jewelry Arts en San Francisco. Asegura
que la práctica es lo que le ha hecho perfeccio-
nar y aprender nuevas técnicas. Todas las
creaciones son diseñadas y elaboradas por ella,
lo que hace que cada una sea especial.

Ninguna creación se repite, porque al igual que
sus clientes, cada pieza es única.

Su disposición a experimentar y aprender
nuevas técnicas es lo que hace que Cristina
siempre tenga piezas distintas y originales.
"Mi propósito es que cada cliente pueda tener
una pieza con la cual se sienta bien y que tenga
la seguridad de que nadie más tendrá una como
la suya."

Cristina trabaja en su taller en Guayaquil,
Ecuador.

Making necklaces and earrings when she needed
them for a special occasion was the starting
point for Cristina's business. Upon graduating
from high school she started selling her
creations to family and friends, who in turn
referred her to their friends, thus building a
faithful clientele.

She started as a self-taught jeweler and then
graduated as Jewlery Technician at the presti-
gious Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts in San
Francisco. Every piece is designed and created
by Cristina, making each piece special.

No two pieces are the same, because, as her
clients, each piece is unique.

Her willingness to experiment and learn new
techniques is what makes Cristina's pieces
different and original. "My goal is that each client
can have a piece with which they feel good and
can have the certainty that no one has one
like theirs."

Cristina works in her studio in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
